O na ddeuai'r dyddiau dedwydd

O na ddeuai'r dyddiau dedwydd,
  I deyrnasoedd daear lawr
Wir adnabod Crist yr Arglwydd,
  Plygu i'r Messia mawr;
Pawb yn llu, o'r un tu,
Yn molianu Iesu cu.

Dyna'r pryd y derfydd enwau
  Gan grefyddwyr ar y llawr,
Enwau gweigion wedi'u llyncu
  Yn y dwyfol Enw mawr:
Dydd sy'n d'od, cenir clod
Iesu'n unig dan y rhôd.

gwelir:
  Aros Iesu yn y rhyfel
  Mawr yw'r hiraeth sy'n fy nghalon
  O na b'ai gwybodaeth Iesu

O that the happy days would come,
  For the cities of earth below
Truly to know Christ the Lord,
  To bow to the great Messiah;
Everyone as a host, of the same side,
Praising dear Jesus.

Empty names having been swallowed
